INSTALLATION

All software used to simulate the G-Cubed multi-country model is designed specifically for the model. No other software is required. Users that have a research version of the model which allows access to the model equations, also require a legal license for the Ox Programming language from Jurgen Doornik. .

Academic Users

Ox Console is available free for academic users by following instructions at www.oxmetrics.com

Commercial Users

Commercial users are required to have a legal license for OX Professional. Exisiting subscribers to Ox Professional can access that software already installed on their computer by selecting the location of the file oxl.exe during the model installation or by selecting the correct Ox location in Preferences in the G-Cubed menu. For commerical users without an Ox Professional license, a license for the Ox Console can be purhased from Oxmetrics.
